Moving lines

I'm sure there is a relatively easy way to do this, but I haven't figured it out yet.

I'm creating a map of producing units and sometimes, while reviewing my work, I have discovered that I need to change the outline of the unit. What I have been doing is selecting the unit, deleting it and redrawing it to the correct size. Sometimes, it would be easier if I could just select each of the boundary lines and shorten them to the correct length, or move the point of the corner to a new location.

Is there a way to do this which doesn't involve a lot of complicated maneuvers and calculations? Or is deleting and redrawing the best method?

Thanks.

You can select the feature with the Digitizer Tool and then select the right-click option to rotate and scale the feature, then just scale it if you need to shrink or grow it. Or if you want to manually move the vertices just draw a box around them, then right-click and select to move the vertices and drag them to the new desired location.

    Thanks,
