Do you see the Vietnamese characters on your map prior to export? When you exported the PDF did you check the option to embed the fonts? You might need that in addition to having a font selected with the Vietnamese character set, although I'm not completely sure that the PDF library that we use even supports Vietnamese text. I only know for certain that Chinese and Korean text is supported.

Another option would be to export to a raster format first, like perhaps GeoTIFF, then load that back in an export it to PDF. That way Global Mapper does the rendering of the text and you just have the raster version of it in the PDF so you don't have to depend on the capabilities of the PDF library that Global Mapper uses.

    Thanks,

Before I export, the text display correctly in Vietnamese and I did chose the option to embed the fonts (I checked the PDF file). Actualy, it's not all the text got error, some text display correctly
I use Foxit Reader to read the PDF file
    Thanks

Have you tried exporting to an image format, like GeoTIFF, at a high resolution, then load that back in and export that to PDF to eliminate any font issues with PDF itself?

    Thanks,
