I'm getting the following error when opening a 3D window: gl err (Calllists): out of memory in version 13. I have no idea what it is - can you help Mike.

Running in Windows 7 Home Premium on a Dell Inspiron N5 with 8GB RAM, 500 Mb HDD and NVidia graphics.

It sounds like perhaps your 3D view texture or terrain size was set to something larger than your 3D card can handle. Try running 'regedit', then going to 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Global Mapper' and deleting the '3DView_TextureSize' and '3DView_TerrainSize' keys (if present), then see if it works ok.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Thanks Mike I'm afraid it made no difference - still getting the same error in both V12 and V13 both 64Bit!

Can you try updating your 3D graphics card driver? Sometimes the OpenGL drivers aren't so good that ship with a machine and when you update the video driver that often fixes issues.

    Thanks,
