can't generation min and max points when calculating elevation stats on line

Any time I try to calculate the elevation/slope stats for a line and accept the option to generate points at the maximum and minimum elevations, I get the error below. I've updated with the latest build, I've tried on different DEMs, I've restarted the computer and turned off every other process, but I still get the error.
Thanks for any help.

One other problem--I've checked "Display measurements rounded to the nearest whole number" in the Measurement tool Options menu, but I'm still getting elevation values displayed with several numbers beyond the decimal point.

I was able to reproduce your problem, and have opened item #17013 in our task list to fix it. We will post a message back to this thread when the status of the but changes.

Thanks!

The fix for this problem is in any daily build dated Dec. 2 or later. Simply download the appropriate installer and run it to install the software.

Thank you very much!
One thing I'm still noticing is that elevations for points are still being calculated with values beyond the decimal, although I have checked "Display measurements rounded to the nearest whole number" in the Options menu of the Measurement tool. Line and area measurements are rounded up, but not points. Is there a way to turn off the calculation of elevation past the decimal point? It's more precision than I need.
As usual, thanks for the great support.

I have added Feature Request #17079 to our task list so we can evaluate adding this functionality in a future version of Global Mapper. We will post a message to this thread when the status of the feature request changes.
