Stunning point cloud rendering

Just a quick post to say how superb GM's LIDAR extension is. We can now very quickly colourise our raw point cloud data using an underlying image (in our case we're using an air survey). Increase the standard 'dot size' to a fixed scale of 2 or 3 so not so many 'gaps' show through the dots. Then load the accompanying DTM so you have a stack of layers...the DTM underneath the air survey underneath the point cloud.
When you view this lot in a 3D window you get a stunning representation of the real world which is way better than doing simple drapes of air surveys over digital surface models!

Hi. Nice. How the point cloud was made?
-
Is that in version 16 of GlobalMapper?

Point cloud is from airborne LIDAR survey and rendered in GM V16 with the LIDAR module.
