Problem with Measure Display Feature Measurements

I have the recent build that includes the INVALID function (which I have already used to good effect). I have a number of vector layers loaded in the Control Centre. I only have one of them checked. I want to know some attribute values, so after selecting all the polygons in the layer, I use Measure Display Feature Measurements. The summed values are too high, but the data in the table looked right. I downloaded the csv file and found that it had somehow also included in the list data on a number of polygons from one of my non-active layers! That explained why the totals were too large. But note - those stray polygons did not appear in the window with the table on the screen.

Can you provide some sample data that does this? The 'Display Feature Measurements' option should only show measurements for selected features, it sounds like you are saying it is also including some features that aren't selected?
Thanks,
Mike
